To help safeguard the sexual health of both men and women, the Union County Health Department in partnership with the Madison County/London City Health Department and the Champaign County Health Department is offering a regional Sexual Health Clinic. This clinic is funded in part by the Ohio Department of Health and Title X federal funds.
Services Available
The Sexual Health Clinic offers affordable reproductive healthcare for men and women with little or no insurance. The clinic provides:
- recommended annual exams (pap smears, pelvic exams, breast exams, and colorectal cancer screenings);
- free and reduced cost gonorrhea, chlamydia & HIV testing*;
- pregnancy testing;
- prescription birth control and condoms; and
- education on how to plan for a healthy pregnancy.
*Chlamydia and Gonorrhea testing for men under the age of 30 can be done by urine testing, avoiding the discomfort of a swabbing type of test.
Cost
Sexual Health Services are significantly discounted in an effort to make healthcare affordable for people with limited or no insurance. Cost is based on income and no one is turned away for inability to pay. Medicaid, CareSource and Molina are accepted as payment. We are not able to bill any private insurances.
Additionally, grant funding allows us to provide free gonorrhea and chlamydia testing for individuals age 13-29. The grant also allows for free testing of anyone over age 29 who has signs or symptoms, is a known contact of someone with gonorrhea or chlamydia, or has a history of infection.
Eligibility
The Sexual Health Clinic serves men and women age 13 and older who have no insurance, have Medicaid, or insurance with such limited coverage that it makes preventative care unaffordable. There are no residency restrictions.

Nursing services are available without an appointment; however, appointments are strongly recommended. Walk ins will be accepted as time allows.
