The Union County Health Department works with a variety of partners in order to protect the health and wellness of our residents. These partnerships are critical for securing grant funding, efficiency in programming and services, and for improving health outcomes. To emphasize the importance of collaboration for the success of public health in Union County, the Union County Health Department annually recognizes one outstanding Public Health Partner of the Year. This award is given to an individual or organization who has demonstrated a high level of commitment to improving the health of our community. For some recipients the award is a culmination of many years of partnership, for others it highlights a year of dedicated service or the launch of a pivot community project.
