Exotic/Wild Animal Regulations In light of the tragedy in Muskingum County in October 2011, the Union County Health Department reminds and reassures residents that Union County has regulations against the possession of exotic/wild animals. In 1998, the Board of Health adopted the Exotic Animal Regulations which prohibit the housing of wild and exotic animals in Union County.
