In the elections of 2006 Ohio citizens voted to pass laws to ban smoking in indoor businesses, public places, and places of employment.
- This law requires businesses to prohibit smoking, remove ashtrays, and post no-smoking signs with the toll free number to report violations of the law at all entrances and other places throughout the building.
