Tips for eating healthier at restaurants:

Try grilled or steamed- Avoid foods that are fried.

Ask for less or no cheese, cream, sour cream, salad dressing, or mayonaise- These ingredients are usually high in fat.

Share- Split a large meal and healthy dessert with a friend or family member.

Try a salad- Salads can be filling and delicious. Just make sure to ask for low-fat dressing on the side or no dressing at all.

Drink more water- Drinking more water with meals can make you feel full.

Try a slice of lemon or lime- Drink water or diet soda with lemon or lime instead of sugary sodas.

Substitute you side- Try getting fruit or vegetables for a side item.

* Ask you server anout healthy menu items or substitutions for foods if you don't see them listed on your menu.*
